不容青史盡成灰 追尋抗戰的歷史意義 Against the Ashes of Time: Revisiting the Historical Meaning of the Chinese War of Resistance

抗戰是我國在擺脱百年屈辱的民族復興史上極重要一章。然而，我輩大多數人對抗戰的歷史所知甚少，對抗戰的認知更隨着時光的逝去而變得模糊。往事非煙，今年適逢慶祝勝利80週年，我們當趁機補好這課歴史。
抗戰能以勝利結束是非常不容易的。那是一場8年，也是14年的全民抗戰、全面抗戰，中國當時極度貧窮、落後，面對強大的軍國主義侵略，靠智慧、堅毅和巨大的犧牲，成就了民族復興的偉大史詩，其中載有太多的民族苦難和英雄血淚，皆非我輩可以想像。
有道前車可鑑，慶祝抗戰勝利不是鼓勵記仇，也不單是為了紀念，而是保持警惕。抗戰是上世紀列強以強凌弱和互相爭霸帶來的浩劫，其惡果仍在，帝國主義和霸權主義思想的遺毒近年更重新發酵肆虐，破壞不少地區的和平；我們今日追求和平，也必須對抗戰的歷史有好好的了解和認識。
還有一點，經歷過抗戰苦難的那些前輩，包括英雄的抗戰軍人，今天大多已凋零殆盡。今次的慶祝活動，還有極少量抗戰時代的老人和老兵參加，到了90週年就不易再找了。因此，今次的慶祝活動，是一次難得機會，讓我們對這些前輩和老兵致敬，也為他們那時代的先輩追思和感恩。
