Sharing Session - Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Historical Trail in Hawaii and Study Tour
To celebrate the centenary of the Chinese revolution and that of the University of Hong Kong, HKUGA is organising a tour for the first time to retrace the footsteps of Dr. Sun Yat-sen in Hawaii and to visit some of its unique places of interest.
The tour is planned to take place from 30 July to 7 August. You are invited to a special preview of the tour highlights on 19th May, 2011.
With reference to the tour itinerary, this sharing session will take you to historical sites, geographical features and cultural establishments and introduce you to people who will help you appreciate the true beauty and history of Hawaii.
At the end of the session, you will have ample opportunity to ask questions on your planned trip to these magical Islands.
This Sharing session is conducted by Ian Chu, Vice President, Internal Affairs, of HKUGA. After graduating from the HKU, Ian obtained his MBA in International Business from the University of Hawaii. Ian has returned to Hawaii numerous times in the past three decades and has conducted in-depth studies on the Hawaiian culture. He teaches the subject of Cross Cultural Management for the Middlesex University and is a Hawaiian Destination Specialist.
