How did you communicate with your bosses and colleagues who are from different countries and cultural background? What can we do to enhance Cross-Cultural Communication? In this sharing session, Mrs. Jenny Deli would discuss with us how to improve our communication at work with people from other cultures and what do we have to pay attention to.

Mrs. Jenny Wong Deli
BA HK; MIHRM; Certified NLP Practitioner (ABNLP)
Jenny is a Senior H.R. Consultant. She is a veteran human resources
practitioner with years of local and
regional experience. She has worked in the electronic manufacturing,
utilities, airline, chemical and
construction industries. She is a speaker for HKU Space's courses in HR and "Special and Business Etiquette for Executives".
Jenny graduated from Hong Kong University and is a full member of the
Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management .She read Psychology
and Personnel Management. She is a veteran Human Resources
practitioner with vast experience in all Human Resources functions in
Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region.
Jenny has worked for Fairchild Semiconductor, China Light & Power,
Cathay Pacific Airways, W.R. Grace, Franki Contractors, Bilfinger +
Berger Ag and Freyssinet . Her notable accomplishments include setting
up and running various Human Resources Departments and systems for
companies and subsidiaries in the Asia Pacific region. She has
completed and overseen a variety of in-house training and training
schemes. Training schemes include Engineers Scheme A Training, Craft
and Technician Apprenticeship, Summer students on job training
schemes. In-house training provided/ conducted ranged from Performance
Appraisal techniques, Total Quality Management, Leadership, Sales,
Finance for Non Financial Managers, New Employees orientation for both
local and expatriate employees of all level to Telephone manner,
Cantonese and Putunghua language training, Also, she has participated
in various universities' training programs organized for
undergraduates and graduates on job interviews. She has also been
heavily involved in various company restructuring and staff cost
saving programs. Jenny has profound experience in employees' exit
interview and counseling as well as executives coaching.
Jenny is well-versed in all Human Resources functions and Labour
Laws. Her areas of expertise encompass cross cultural interpersonal
skills, employees selection, industrial relations and negotiation,
multi cultural management, employees and executives counseling. She
works in bilingual or multi lingual environment with ease and is
skilled in both English and Chinese.
